Job summary

Shell in the United Kingdom seeks an AI Embedment Lead to join London operations. You will bridge petrophysics, production engineering and AI development to embed solutions in live upstream assets, delivering measurable value and rapid impact across multiple sites.

The role combines domain leadership with hands-on AI execution, focusing on generative AI, agentic workflows and advanced analytics to drive adoption and repeatable value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees preferred.
• Strong subsurface domain knowledge and AI/ML experience.
• Proven experience building and deploying agentic and GenAI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify AI/value opportunities across subsurface assets.
• Lead development and deployment of generative and agentic AI solutions.
• Embed AI into day-to-day asset workflows with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and platform teams.
• Define reliable, scalable and user-centric AI implementations.
