Geomiq, a London-based manufacturing marketplace, seeks a Tech Lead to architect the backend and drive AI-powered automation across the business. You will write production Laravel code, mentor senior engineers, and build intelligent agents to automate complex workflows, partnering with the CEO to shape the platform's future.

This role requires deep Laravel/API-first experience and a proven track record integrating LLMs and automation tools into real products within a fast-growing startup

Qualifications

• Proven experience building and scaling production systems with Laravel.
• Experience designing complex API-first architectures.
• Experience integrating LLMs and modern automation platforms into real-world products.

Responsibilities

• Own the backend architecture, writing production-grade Laravel and Python code daily while designing scalable APIs and data pipelines for a global marketplace.
• Develop and integrate AI agents and automated workflows using OpenAI, Anthropic, and n8n to eliminate manual bottlenecks across Engineering and Operations.
• Mentor a high-calibre team of engineers and data scientists, maintaining an elite bar for code quality and high-performance system architecture.
