Job summary

WTW is seeking an Engineering Manager in the Cambridge area to lead multiple development teams that deliver AI-driven insurance solutions. You will mentor engineers, drive Agile practices, and coordinate with product management to align priorities and roadmaps.

You’ll oversee architecture decisions, ensure high-quality releases, and support ongoing improvement in processes, tooling, and team effectiveness. Hybrid work options are available within the UK.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading teams of 10+ engineers/architects delivering complex AI-first solutions.
• Proven track record of growing teams and leading transformation across software engineering dimensions.
• Experience with full software development lifecycle in commercial environments: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple development teams using Agile practices to deliver insurance solutions.
• Ensure engineers leverage AI techniques and maintain high-quality standards.
• Interface between Product Management and Engineering to align roadmaps and priorities.
• Oversee architecture reviews and scalable design discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide troubleshooting and drive continuous improvement in processes and tools.
