Job summary

Proactive Appointments Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to join a growing technology team focused on solving business challenges through software, automation and AI. The role blends hands-on engineering with business engagement, with roughly 60% coding and 40% stakeholder collaboration.

Work is UK remote or hybrid with occasional travel to UK offices. You will design, build and deliver production‑grade software, explore AI‑driven automation and contribute to ongoing engineering standards

Qualifications

3+ years’ professional software engineering experience.
Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++.
Experience building and deploying production-grade software.
Practical use of AI tools and technologies to improve productivity.
Ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation within business processes.
Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
Willingness to travel occasionally to UK offices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and deploy scalable software, integrations and automation solutions.
Build systems that improve efficiency, accuracy and user experience.
