Plentific, a London-based proptech leader, seeks an experienced Software Architect to shape technical direction while writing code. You will bridge product vision and delivery, mentor engineers, and own the architecture of scalable microservices on Kubernetes.

You’ll work with Python, Django, AI-assisted practices, and cloud-native tools to deliver reliable APIs, data pipelines, and real-time features across the platform. UK working hours apply, leadership focus with hands-on coding.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with Python and Django.
• Hands-on experience building Django-based microservices at scale on Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
• Tech Lead or Software Architect with ownership of technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and define the team’s roadmap.
• Design scalable microservices and APIs on Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers and ensure delivery of high-quality code.
• Champion AI-assisted development throughout the lifecycle.
