• Ability to use insight from multiple sources to tell a clear story and make practical recommendations.
• Strong Excel proficiency.
• Experience with Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Experience with AI visibility platforms such as Profound, Peec AI or Ahrefs Brand Radar is beneficial.
• Willingness to learn and experiment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to present findings and collaborate with editorial, product and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits covering crawlability, indexation, structured data and site health across search and AI platforms
• Identify internal linking, entity and semantic optimisation opportunities
• Support testing and experimentation to improve visibility across search, LLMs and AI answer engines
• Produce regular search and AI visibility performance reports with insights, trends and recommended actions
• Work with Product & Technology on technical SEO improvements and monitor site performance
• Create entity-led content briefs optimised for search performance, AI citability and audience intent
• Conduct content, topic and competitor audits
• Identify opportunities to improve topical authority, semantic coverage and discoverability
• Use search, AI discovery and audience insight to improve journeys from discovery to registration, newsletter sign-up, subscription and repeat engagement
• Support the Audience Development Lead on owned-channel initiatives
• Monitor Google algorithm updates, AI Overviews, LLMs and emerging best practice
• Champion testing and learning by proposing ideas, experiments and recommendations
• Share insights and performance updates with editorial teams and stakeholders
• Support training and playbooks embedding best practice across the business
