Job summary

BrightLocal is seeking a Product Manager to own a core service end-to-end, from discovery and problem definition to delivery and iteration. You’ll be the fourth PM on the team, reporting to the Head of Product and collaborating with Engineering, Design and Customer Success.

You will run structured discovery, write Jira specs, and work on API-centric features, balancing customer needs with technical constraints. AI tools will be part of daily workflow.

Qualifications

• Solid background in product management, ideally within a SaaS environment.
• Experience with technically complex products, APIs, integrations or data-heavy features.
• Experience in agile delivery with Jira or similar tooling.
• Track record of running structured discovery with customer interviews and data analysis.
• Experience shipping features end-to-end and measuring impact.
• Familiarity with AI tools as part of working practice and willingness to push further.

Responsibilities

• Own your product area end-to-end from discovery through to delivery and iteration.
• Run continuous discovery by talking to users, analyzing data, and working with Customer Success.
• Write clear, well-reasoned specs and user stories in Jira for Engineering and Design.
• Collaborate with PM peers to align priorities and maintain a coherent product experience.
• Track impact of shipped features and use data to inform future work.
• Use AI tools to improve research, synthesis, writing, and workflow efficiency.
