Job summary

Referment is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join a London-based client team. You will support planning, risk analysis and PMO activities on construction projects, with exposure to an AI-driven product and LLM features.

You’ll engage with clients, understand their needs and help them adopt the tool effectively. Early ownership is paired with mentorship, monthly client visits, and opportunities to work with international clients in a client-facing technology role.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning/risk/PMO on construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules (P6).
• Knowledge of probabilistic schedule risk analysis and statistics.
• Interest in applying technology to improve construction outcomes.
• Customer-centric approach and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Coach clients to maximise value from the product.
• Build relationships within client organisations to understand needs.
• Configure the product to bring value to clients.
• Explain and adopt advanced analysis features including LLM-based analysis.
• Support engagement, retention and expansion with the commercial team.
• Collaborate with product managers and AI engineers on prototyping and LLM evaluation.
