Job summary

W3Global in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced AI-enabled Payments Test Automation Engineer to design, develop, and run automated tests across complex payment platforms. You will apply AI-powered testing practices to improve coverage, defect prediction, and release confidence.

The role requires strong expertise in test automation, payments knowledge, JavaScript-based automation, and modern testing methodologies, with hands-on experience testing SEPA, BACS, SWIFT, and ISO 20022 payment flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in test automation for payments or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automated test scripts for frontend and backend.
• Build AI-assisted test automation to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with development teams to enforce testing standards and quality gates.
• Create and execute complex test scenarios using BDD (Cucumber).
• Maintain reusable automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and JavaScript.
• Coordinate testing activities across distributed teams during SIT/UAT and releases.
