Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Software Tester for the Payments Delivery Stream to ensure our global payment systems operate flawlessly and securely, handling deposits, withdrawals, and third-party integrations.

You will apply AI-driven testing, automation, and API validation, partnering with product and engineering to define test strategies, report defects in Jira, and improve testing coverage across Account Management and Onboarding.

Qualifications

Knowledge of deposits, withdrawals and payment method integrations.
Ability to test APIs using Gherkin syntax and interpret technical docs.
Experience with automation tools like Playwright and AI-assisted test creation.
Strong sense of test ownership and ability to define and execute test strategies.
Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
Proactive approach to personal development and knowledge retention.
Ability to work collaboratively or independently on project requirements.
Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
Interest in emerging technologies, specifically AI agents.

Responsibilities

Drive AI/automation-first testing within the Payments Delivery scope.
Define and own test strategies, providing accurate estimates and quality-focused approaches.
Conduct quality testing on Account Management and Onboarding projects.
Report defects accurately and manage them through Jira to resolution.
Shape and improve agentic processes through feedback loops with the team.
Communicate testing progress to the project team and stakeholders.
Develop product knowledge by liaising with subject matter experts.
Plan groundbreaking software delivery and ensure reliability across payment flows.
