Job summary

Arriva TrainCare seeks an Operational Compliance Team Leader to oversee the audit programme, compliance checks and CAPA across rail replacement operations. You will lead two Lead Auditors and the Compliance Administrator, driving evidence-based findings to closure and embedding actions in daily operations.

You will champion a data-driven, AI-enabled compliance function, develop Power BI dashboards and coach the team to meet ISO 9001, 45001 and 22301 requirements while travelling nationwide for

Qualifications

• Proven line management experience with a small compliance, audit or operational assurance team.
• Experience delivering an audit programme in a regulated industry.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001; lead auditor preferred.
• Strong supplier assurance and contract compliance understanding.
• Proficient in findings management and CAPA tracking.
• Excellent report writing for operational leadership.
• Daily user of enterprise AI tools for drafting audit narratives and MI commentary.

Responsibilities

• Audit programme delivery planning and execution.
• Quality assurance over audit activities, papers and compliance documentation.
• Line management of the compliance team.
• Supplier assurance management and escalation of issues.
• Oversee PSVAR and taxi/PHV compliance where relevant.
• Maintain CAPA logs and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Produce weekly compliance dashboards and monthly audit packs.
• Support ISO surveillance audits and external certification.
• Identify and scale AI-assisted improvements for audits and MI.
