Job summary

Isomorphic Labs seeks a Director of Nonclinical Safety to build and lead our safety function in an AI-first drug development environment. You will define phase-appropriate safety strategies for small molecules and potentially biologics, interfacing with Preclinical Development, Clinical Pharmacology, and Regulatory teams.

Reporting to Early Development leadership, you will drive post-IND toxicology programs, leverage AI-enabled safety predictions, and collaborate with CROs to ensure robust

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM, or equivalent in Cell & Molecular Biology, Toxicology, Pathology, Pharmacology, or related field; board certification desired.
• 12+ years in nonclinical safety and toxicology in biotech/pharma.
• Proven track record advancing programs from discovery through post-IND and NDA/BLA; biologics experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Nonclinical Safety function in an AI-first drug development setting.
• Serve as internal expert for post-IND nonclinical safety ensuring quality and scalability.
• Define translational strategies by integrating nonclinical safety biomarkers and exposure modeling.
