Job summary

Bloomberg Media, based in London, seeks a Yield Analyst to optimize monetization of advertising inventory across Digital, TV, Social, Audio, and Print. You’ll handle pricing, inventory, and packaging strategies, balancing sell-through with business objectives, while translating insights to Sales, Planning, and Ops.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, scalability, and collaboration across teams to drive revenue growth in a fast-paced media environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in digital advertising, media, yield management, or a related field.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications and fluency in written and spoken English.
• Professional experience in advertising, media, or finance, ideally within a global organisation.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Pivot/Power Query).
• Experience extracting, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets; familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau/Power BI/Looker.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort handling large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Yield partner to Sales, Planning, and Ad Operations; evaluate pricing and inventory across channels.
• Analyse inventory, pricing, revenue, and marketplace data to identify trends by region, platform, and seasonality.
• Evaluate, create, and evolve product offerings and packaging strategies.
• Build and maintain dynamic forecasting and scenario models for revenue, sell-through, and yield outcomes.
• Design scalable pricing frameworks, rate cards, and methodologies across multiple mediums.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate pricing, inventory, and product strategies for near- and long-term growth.
• Analyse complex datasets and present clear findings and recommendations to various stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, statistical modelling, scripting, and automation to improve forecasting and efficiency.
