Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Yield Analyst for its UK Commercial team in London to optimise how advertising inventory is monetised across Digital, TV, Social, Audio, and Print. You will partner with Sales, Planning, Ad Operations and Finance to implement pricing strategies and packaging changes based on data trends.

The role requires strong Excel and data analysis skills, experience with large datasets, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in digital advertising, media, yield management, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications and fluency in written and spoken English.
• Professional experience in advertising, media, or finance, ideally within a global organisation.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including advanced Excel tools (Power Pivot/Power Query).
• Experience extracting, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets; familiarity with Tableau/Power BI/Looker.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to translate data to actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and comfort with large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary Yield partner to Sales, Planning, and Ad Operations across channels and buying methodologies.
• Analyse inventory, pricing, revenue data by region, platform, and seasonality to optimise strategies.
• Evaluate and evolve product offerings and packaging across platforms using data insights.
• Build dynamic forecasting and scenario models for revenue, sell-through, and yield outcomes.
• Design scalable pricing frameworks, rate cards, and performance methodologies across media.
• Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Ad Operations, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Data teams.
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations for stakeholders across the organisation.
• Identify opportunities to use AI, scripting, and automation to improve forecasting and efficiency.
