Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Finance Automations Developer to build and maintain automation tools for the Finance Operations function, delivering timely operational reports and ensuring smooth automated processes across the finance function.

You will collaborate with the Finance Transformation team to standardise automations, provide user-friendly interfaces and maintain robust documentation and support for ongoing automation efforts.

Qualifications

Experience in office process analysis.
Expertise with MS Office automation tools (e.g. VBA and/or Power Automate).
Experience with Robotic, Agentic and AI-powered process automation (e.g. Power Automate).
Experience with planning and orchestration of Robotic and/or Agentic process flows, including workflow optimisation.
Understanding and vision of best practices within digital technology teams.
Understanding of the opportunities presented by evolving technologies.

Responsibilities

Create automation tools for the Finance Operations department and maintain/support existing automations.
Deliver operational reporting and run automated tasks centrally.
Develop live Power BI reports and data pipelines with IT Data and Data Lake teams.
