Job summary

Valtech is seeking an eRetail Engineering Manager to lead engineering delivery across the client eRetail factory in Paris. You will own end-to-end delivery, set technical roadmaps, ensure quality and production reliability, and drive AI-native tooling to accelerate engineering throughput and quality.

The role requires leadership of distributed teams (France/India) with a strong security and performance mindset, and fully bilingual French/English.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading engineering organizations at scale (20+ engineers) with direct delivery accountability.
• Driving AI-assisted development or AI-native engineering practices into standard use, not just pilots.
• Managing distributed engineering teams (France/India or equivalent onshore/offshore).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce, retail, or omnichannel platform architectures.
• Hands-on technical credibility — able to make and defend architecture and trade-off decisions.
• Fully bilingual French/English is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end engineering delivery for the eRetail factory: roadmap, code quality, and release predictability.
• Grow distributed engineering org across France/India; hiring, mentoring and career development.
• Ensure delivery cadence, quality, and reliability meet business and seasonal requirements.
• Align engineering with Agile Operating Model, Quality & Testing, and Production & Support.
