Job summary

Chaucer Underwriting Services Limited, within Chaucer Technology, seeks a strategic technology leader to own the Enterprise Architecture and govern the Architecture Domain. Reporting to the CTO, you will define roadmaps, guardrails and design standards to align technology with business objectives.

You will mentor Domain Architects and collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Security and Data to translate requirements into high-level designs, ensuring scalable, compliant solutions that

Qualifications

Extensive experience in architecture leadership within regulated sectors such as insurance.
Ability to translate business strategy into architectural roadmaps and reference architectures.
Proven capability to lead large, cross-functional architecture initiatives and mentor junior architects.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the Architecture Domain roadmap aligned with Chaucer's business goals.
Establish guardrails, principles and secure-by-design standards across change programs.
Own enterprise reference architectures and strategic technology blueprints; drive innovation, including AI, responsibly.
Advise senior leaders by translating tech trends into investment priorities and value.
