Job summary

AXA XL is seeking a Chief Enterprise Architect in a global capacity to define and govern the enterprise architecture vision, translating business strategy into integrated technology, data and capability roadmaps. The role drives modernization and AI-enabled architecture to deliver measurable business value.

Reporting to the Chief Technology & AI Officer, this leader will steer architecture strategy, governance, and portfolio rationalization across domains, ensuring security and regulatory

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in end-to-end business and technology capability architecture with embedded security/privacy/AI.
• Experience leading high-performing global teams.
• Strong systems thinking and problem-solving with a focus on measurable outcomes.
• Data-driven decision making and robust stakeholder communication.
• Ability to translate business strategy into architecture roadmaps and investments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise target architecture aligned to business strategy.
• Lead multi-year roadmaps across business, data, application, and infrastructure domains.
• Own enterprise AI architecture strategy and governance across platforms and data.
• Establish and run architecture governance including standards, patterns, and guardrails.
• Drive modernization, cloud strategy, and portfolio rationalization across portfolios.
• Translate business strategy into capability maps and operating model requirements.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify capability gaps and investment priorities.
• Build end-to-end AI-based architecture and ensure engineers execute to it.
• Define enterprise integration principles and align data architecture with strategy.
• Embed security, resilience, and regulatory considerations in all architecture.
