Job summary

Vet Partners in York, UK seeks a Documents Governance & Information Management Lead to drive a business-wide review and standardisation of documents, policies and templates. You will implement a robust governance framework, ensure brand consistency, and manage lifecycle, approval workflows and metadata across the organisation.

The role includes evaluating AI-enabled solutions to support review, QA and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in document control, governance and information management within medium or large organisations.
Experience developing and implementing document control frameworks and governance processes.
Strong understanding of version control and document lifecycle management.
Experience managing policies and controlled documentation.
Excellent written English with proofreading and editing skills.
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

Review and standardise documents, policies, procedures and information resources.
Design and implement a formal document governance framework.
Create lifecycle processes covering creation, review, publication, revision and archiving.
Implement version control standards and metadata/ownership requirements.
Evaluate and implement AI-enabled solutions for document review and QA.
Engage stakeholders and deliver training on new management processes.
