Job summary

ClearBank Limited is seeking an AI Enablement Engineer to join the Developer Experience team in London. You will work closely with software engineers to integrate AI into real delivery workflows, improving productivity, quality, and developer experience while adhering to governance and risk requirements.

You are hands-on, curious about AI, and capable of influencing engineering practices broadly across a regulated bank environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in software engineering and platform practices.
Experience applying AI in real engineering workflows.
Strong collaboration with delivery teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Use and evaluate AI tooling in software engineering workflows.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve AI usage in coding, testing, review, and documentation.
Share patterns and examples for teams to adopt AI practices.
Identify friction points and opportunities to improve engineering workflows.
Support rollout of new AI tools and approaches to the engineering community.
Define and track success measures like adoption signals and quality outcomes.
Work with Security and Risk partners to align with governance expectations.
Build or extend lightweight tooling to support AI adoption.
