Job summary

Citi London is seeking a seasoned Lead Engineering Developer to own and drive technical components end-to-end within an AI-enabled platform. You will collaborate with business partners to translate problems into robust technical solutions and shape the product roadmap while mentoring colleagues in a fast-moving, delivery-focused environment.

The role combines hands-on coding in Python/Java, architectural design, and cross-team coordination, with a hybrid work model and a strong emphasis on risk,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a senior developer, technical lead, or similar role.
• Strong background in object-oriented programming, technical design, and architecture.
• Proficiency in Java or Python— with hands-on experience in both preferred.
• Experience with Generative AI, AI Agents (ADK), and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own, lead, and manage technical components end-to-end, aligning with business objectives.
• Mentor junior teammates and guide technical decisions and roadmaps.
• Design, develop, and test solutions using Python/Java with robust architecture.
• Collaborate with Risk and AI platform teams to evolve Citi technology and procedures.
• Translate business problems into actionable technical requirements and deliver outcomes.
