Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking a Data & Automation Developer in Dorset, focusing on Power BI, Power Platform and AI-driven solutions. You will help move the organisation toward a more automated, data-driven decision process.

You will report to the IT Director and work across teams to deliver practical, scalable data and automation solutions using Power BI, Dataverse and AI tooling. The role is primarily office-based with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data/BI Developer or similar in Power BI-driven environments.
• Strong skills in DAX, Power Query, data modelling and dashboards.
• Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Transform and visualize data from multiple sources.
• Build solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Develop automation workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI tools such as Copilot and Claude.
• Support data governance, security and GDPR-compliant data handling.
