Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a hands-on Cyber Security Architect in the UK to design and validate bespoke security solutions. You will lead threat modelling, risk assessments, and regulatory mapping while leveraging AI-enabled tooling to accelerate delivery.

The role emphasizes pre-sales support, secure design, and compliance with ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and CRA, including encryption, RBAC, MFA, and audit logging across platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on security architecture, engineering, or systems integration in complex environments.
• Ability to design and build custom technical security solutions and automation.
• Experience with threat modelling (STRIDE) and risk remediation lifecycles.
• Familiarity with scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Active UK Security Clearance (SC) or eligibility for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hands-on design, build, and integration of bespoke security solutions and custom tooling.
• Engineer and test security tools and automated workflows using approved AI toolset.
• Create sandbox lab environments to validate security integrations, perimeters, and data flows.
• Perform threat modelling and risk assessments; review and remediate findings.
• Map configurations to security baselines (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST 800-171/53, CRA) and verify controls (encryption, RBAC, MFA, audit logs).
• Support pre-sales with evidence, diagrams, and security documentation.
