Job summary

Capgemini Invent in Glasgow is seeking a Senior Consultant – Cloud Operating Model Transformation to help clients design and evolve cloud operating models focused on automation and AI readiness.

You will advise on operating models, ITIL practices, DevOps, GenAI tooling, and cloud platforms, while collaborating across levels and contributing to the growth of Capgemini Invent's cloud advisory practice.

Qualifications

• Experience transforming businesses through technology and redefining operational processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL V4 and/or V5 best practices (Incident, Change Management, Service Desk).
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tooling and platforms, understanding their integration into cloud operating models.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles including CI/CD, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services to clients regarding the operational and organizational impacts of cloud transformation, helping to develop AI-ready business models.
• Conduct assessments and audits of existing cloud operating models to identify areas for improvement, translating findings into future-state designs.
• Design target cloud operating models and service management frameworks that align with clients’ strategic ambitions and cloud maturity.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of cloud operating model transformations, using operational metrics to recommend improvements.
• Utilize your skills in strategy development, service management, and agile delivery to achieve business outcomes through cloud transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate across all organizational levels to innovate and implement cloud transformations, contributing to the consulting practice’s growth.
• Advise clients on the practical application of large language models and agentic AI within cloud operating models.
• Support clients in understanding AI governance considerations, including data quality and transparency.
