Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Computer Engineering - AI Data Trainer to challenge language models on topics like architecture, embedded systems, and hardware design. This is a remote hourly contract offering flexible hours and opportunities to document failures to harden model reasoning.

You will design problems, author gold-standard solutions with HDL and assembly, and audit AI-generated code. Masters/PhD in hardware-focused field preferred; 10–40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a hardware-focused CS/EE field.
• Strong knowledge in core areas: Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, Digital Logic, OS.
• Clear written communication of hardware concepts.
• No AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced computer engineering challenges across RISC‑V/ARM, FPGA, memory management, and HW‑SW co‑design.
• Author gold‑standard solutions including assembly code, HDL snippets, and diagrams.
• Audit AI‑generated code, logic designs, and OS kernels for accuracy and standards.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI model reasoning.
