Essential criteria include a PhD in a related field, strong AI knowledge, and proficient Python programming. The role emphasizes independent and collaborative work and supports engagement with research funding proposals.

Qualifications

• PhD in AI or related field or thesis submitted awaiting viva.
• Proven track record in conducting high‑quality AI research and publications.
• Strong programming skills (Python, R or similar).
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities; able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality AI and data science research.
• Analyse large, multimodal datasets and evaluate AI methods.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners on projects.
• Prepare research papers and conference contributions.
• Contribute to external research funding applications.
• Support management and activities within AIDTRI.
• Assist in organising research programs and reporting.
