Job summary

Vertus Partners is seeking an experienced AI/data engineer to help with the greenfield design and build of the next generation data foundations that power search, analytics and AI-driven applications across the business.

This is a hands-on role focused on designing robust data pipelines, improving data accessibility and creating scalable solutions that enable better use of information across a complex technology environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL with data engineering experience.
• Hands-on with production-grade data pipelines and platforms.
• Knowledge of GCP and cloud-based data architectures.
• Exposure to search, data discovery, or IR solutions.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata and quality.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-team collaboration.
• Preference for enterprise knowledge base experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources.
• Develop scalable platforms to support analytics, search and AI use cases.
• Design data structures to improve data accessibility and usability.
• Support search and discovery via effective indexing and data mgmt.
• Implement governance, lineage and quality controls across datasets.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and business stakeholders.
