Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a Head of AI Implementation & Enablement to lead the AI CoE and drive the safe, scalable adoption of AI across the organisation. You will establish governance, standards and an operating model that enables teams to adopt AI with confidence while managing risk.

In partnership with senior leadership, you will shape priorities, run AI experiments, report on value and ROI, and build capability across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and operating AI governance and responsible frameworks in a complex organisation.
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cancer Research UK's AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE).
• Design and own AI governance framework from experimentation through retirement.
• Partner with Data & Technology SLT to embed AI priorities in domain roadmaps.
• Scale pilot AI use cases into sustainable, business-owned services.
• Build communities of practice and develop AI adoption and literacy across CRUK.
