We’re working with one of the world’s leading technology consultancies — a global powerhouse with a deep-rooted commitment to innovation, transformation, and sustainable growth.

As part of this expansion, they’re hiring a Business Development Director to help take their AI capabilities to market. You’ll be joining a collaborative team of subject matter experts and client partners, with a clear mission: shape the AI agenda of enterprise organisations across the UK.

What you'll be doing:

• Own the AI business development lifecycle: from lead generation through to close

• Work directly with the AI Leadership to shape the go-to-market approach

• Engage new clients or existing strategic accounts to identify AI-driven growth opportunities

• Translate business problems into AI use cases

• Liaise with delivery teams to ensure smooth client handover and execution

• Build relationships with partners and ecosystem players to amplify reach

• Stay on top of market trends and share insights with your peers

• Travel for client meetings and attend industry events to represent the AI Practice

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive business development experience, with at least 1 year focused on AI

• Strong track record selling consulting-led or bespoke software/infrastructure services

• Deep understanding of the AI landscape and its business/commercial value

• Multi-Industry experience (you’ll be comfortable across a wide client portfolio)

• Commercial creativity – you know how to position solutions, not just technologies

• A self-starter mindset with a collaborative, team-first approach

• Strong communication skills and stakeholder gravitas

• SC clearance eligibility (or already cleared) is a bonus
