Job summary

Tecna in Farnborough is seeking an enthusiastic AI & Automation Specialist Apprentice (Level 4) to develop practical skills in AI, automation, digital transformation and data-driven decision making while studying toward the Level 4 qualification.

You will work across departments to identify automation opportunities, design and test AI solutions, build automated workflows with no-code/low-code tools, and document processes for training and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

Interest in AI, automation and digital technologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Organised with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
Experience using Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or other AI tools.
Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, Zapier, Make, or other workflow automation platforms.
Understanding of business processes and process improvement methodologies.
Basic knowledge of data analysis or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Identify repetitive business processes and recommend opportunities for automation.
Assist in the design, development, testing, and implementation of AI and automation solutions.
Support the creation of automated workflows using no-code and low-code platforms.
Analyse business requirements and map existing processes to identify efficiency improvements.
Use AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, reporting, and decision-making.
Support the integration of software systems and digital tools across the organisation.
Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives.
Promote responsible and ethical AI practices in line with company policies and industry standards.
Create process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and support the successful adoption of new technologies.
Participate in continuous improvement projects and contribute ideas for innovation.
Maintain awareness of emerging AI and automation technologies and industry best practices.
