The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is seeking a dedicated business development leader for AI assurance to coordinate the ecosystem, prioritise partnerships and build a sustainable pipeline of AI assurance activity. The role focuses on establishing NPL as a trusted technical cornerstone for AI quality, validation and TEVV services, working with government, industry and international partners.

• Build and maintain relationships with AI-relevant government departments and national bodies.
• Develop partnerships with standards organisations and industry conveners.
• Lead proposals positioning NPL as core technical partner for AI validation and assurance.
• Coordinate with sector-specific teams to align AI engagements across the organisation.
