Job summary

Sanderson seeks a Lead AI Architect to define and deliver an enterprise AI strategy, architecture, governance framework and adoption roadmap. The role focuses on designing agentic AI capabilities and scalable architectures across a complex enterprise, driving governance and platforms standards.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership on AI architecture, platform strategy, and enablement, moving the business from experimental pilots to enterprise-wide AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Proven experience defining enterprise AI strategies and architecture roadmaps.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI, AI platforms, large language models, orchestration frameworks and governance.
• Experience designing scalable AI solutions with data, integration, APIs, security and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise AI target architectures and transition roadmaps.
• Develop scalable AI and agentic architecture patterns covering orchestration, integration, security, observability and lifecycle management.
• Evolve the Agent taxonomy and tiering with stakeholders across purpose, autonomy, impact, data sensitivity, reach and criticality.
• Establish AI platform strategies, standards, guardrails and reusable design frameworks.
• Assess and prioritise AI opportunities across business functions and create long-term AI roadmaps.
• Create AI design principles, reference architectures and governance frameworks for secure, responsible adoption.
• Lead stakeholder engagement across architecture, technology, data, security, risk and business teams.
• Enable internal teams through workshops, design reviews, coaching and reusable best practice assets.
• Drive adoption of AI governance, technical assurance and operational standards.
