Goldman Sachs in London seeks a VP Core Engineering AI Solutions Engineer to embed with The Core teams, prototype agentic AI solutions, and productionize cloud-native applications that deliver measurable business impact. You will define where agents should act, create robust AI products, and ensure secure, auditable production workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related quantitative field.
• 9+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with sound design and testing practices.
• Experience translating complex requirements into cloud-optimized architectures and scalable data models.
• Experience in forward-deployed/internal client-facing engineering, with rapid prototyping and pilot delivery.
• Extensive experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, including serverless, containers, and cloud security.

Responsabilités

• Rapid Prototyping & Application Delivery: design, build, deploy, and operate cloud-native AI apps with CI/CD and tests.
• Business Partnership & Solution Architecture: translate requirements into cloud-optimized architectures and data models.
• Forward-Deployed AI Engineering: map workflows, identify automation opportunities, and drive adoption with pilots and feedback loops.
• Production AI/ML Integration: build AI apps using LLMs, embeddings, vector search, and structured outputs.
• Cloud, DevOps & MLOps Execution: ensure scalable, observable, and cost-aware deployments.
• Knowledge Transfer & Enablement: document solutions and mentor receiving teams for long-term ownership.
