Job summary

Hyreus in Birmingham is seeking an experienced AHU Sales Engineer to support customers with AHU equipment selection, technical solutions and sales enquiries in a challenging OEM environment.

The ideal candidate will have HVAC sales or applications engineering experience, strong knowledge of AHUs, ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and a demonstrated ability to develop quotations and proposals for projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in HVAC sales or applications engineering or similar customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of AHUs and HVAC systems; able to interpret drawings and specs.
• Ability to prepare accurate quotations and technical proposals.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries and provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
• Work with clients, consultants, contractors and internal teams to meet project requirements.
• Select and configure AHU equipment based on customer specifications and standards.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and equipment selections within required timescales.
• Review project specs, drawings and schedules to ensure performance criteria are met.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
