Job summary

The Opportunity Hub UK Ltd in Sheffield is hiring a Climate and Sustainability Consultant to help agricultural clients cut emissions and prove compliance. You’ll translate farm data into actionable sustainability metrics and build emissions models for crop and livestock systems.

In a small team with direct access to founders, you’ll influence the product roadmap and client reports. Hybrid working with an emphasis on learning and development rounds out a hands-on, impact-driven role.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science, agriculture, sustainability or related field.
• Several years in a similar consultant role.
• Knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies (GHG Protocol, LCA).
• Ability to explain findings to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assess the carbon footprint and environmental impact of agricultural operations for clients.
• Translate raw farm data into sustainability metrics.
• Build and refine emissions models for crop and livestock systems.
• Advise clients on practical decarbonisation and land-use strategies.
• Track UK and EU environmental regulation as it applies to agriculture.
• Write client-facing reports and present findings clearly.
