  • Has experience maintaining accurate records and tracking learner progress.
  • Has a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Job description

As an Agriculture Assessor, you’ll work closely with apprentices across a variety of farming enterprises, helping them build the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed for a successful career in agriculture. You’ll visit learners in their workplaces, provide guidance and support, and assess their progress throughout their apprenticeship journey.
Are you an experienced agriculture professional who is passionate about developing talent and supporting the next generation of farming experts? This is a highly varied position where no two days are the same. You’ll spend time out on farms and agricultural businesses across the region, building strong relationships with employers and apprentices while ensuring high-quality assessment and learner support. As regular travel is an essential part of the role, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
