Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking an SME Relationship Manager, Agriculture to manage a portfolio of agriculture client groups across the South West, including Shaftesbury. The role is hybrid, with regular in-person client meetings and virtual sessions via Teams.

You will build trusted client relationships, assess credit needs, and work with product specialists to offer suitable financial solutions. A strong network in local Commercial banking is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must be seen as the go-to banker in their geographic area of responsibility.
• Proven track record of winning new business in corporate/commercial banking.
• Ability to prepare clear credit papers and apply policies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with agriculture clients, offering tailored financial guidance.
• Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and involve product specialists when needed.
• Assess and manage credit risk, prepare credit papers for facilities and renewals.
• Encourage sustainable business practices in line with the Group's ESG aims.
• Collaborate with service teams to resolve requests and explain the service model.
