Our Wynnstay Cross Hands Store has an opportunity for you to join their team as a motivated and experienced Agricultural Store Manager, to efficiently manage and maximise the service to our farm customers.

The Opportunity:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Taking overall responsibility for the site including its staff, stock, presentation and performance
  • Retaining, increasing and maximizing sales of products at the store through various selling activities
  • Maintaining the existing customer base, ensuring exceptional levels of customer service and establishing new contacts to drive sales
  • Providing leadership, support and development to the store team
  • Ensuring the store is stocked adequately and is always presentable
  • Completing regular stocktakes accurately and within the specified timeframe
  • Implementing and participating in promotional campaigns
  • Conducting staff reviews to assess training needs and build career development paths
  • Comfortably dealing with issues which may arise with staff or customers
  • Taking responsibility for Health & Safety on site
  • Ensuring compliance with Wynnstay policies and procedures throughout store operations
  • Communicating with key individuals and maintaining good working relationships within the business

The Person:

The successful candidate:

  • Commercial and practical awareness of the agricultural industry with the ability to sell through enhanced customer relations and knowledge
  • Enthusiastic and hungry to seek new opportunities through various initiatives
  • An effective communicator who can encourage and inspire others to follow with previous management/supervisory experience
  • Can act as a team player, networking with key individuals throughout the Group
  • Knowledge of the features and benefits including any regulations surrounding portfolio of products sold
  • Awareness of the Health and Safety in the Workplace
  • To be qualified in the following areas, or prepared to undergo training:

• Basis Store Keeper Qualified
