Job summary

Wynnstay Group PLC is recruiting an Agricultural Store Assistant for our Llanfachraeth Store. You will help ensure efficient store operations and deliver exceptional service to our farmer customers.

The role involves processing transactions, supporting stock management, and advising customers on agricultural products. A background in retail and a proactive, customer-focused approach are valued. RAMA training may be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Experience in fast-paced retail environment preferred.
• Knowledge of agricultural products and farming practices is a bonus.
• RAM A (Registered Animal Medicines Advisor) qualified or willing to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Process cash and credit transactions accurately in a busy agricultural retail environment.
• Identify customer needs and maximise sales opportunities through service and product knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide timely, accurate product advice.
• Support team with product knowledge and assist in stock management, especially during promotions.

40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, rotating weekends ( Permanent)

Wynnstay Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Agricultural Store Assistant at our busy Llanfachraeth Store, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional service for our valued farmer customers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the helm of a well-established and respected store at the heart of a rural community. Responsibilities:

• Processing cash and credit transactions accurately in a busy agricultural retail environment
  Identifying customer needs and maximising sales opportunities through excellent service and knowledge of agricultural products
• Building strong relationships with customers, providing timely and accurate advice on products
• Supporting team members with product knowledge and assisting in managing stock levels, especially during seasonal promotions and campaigns
• Always delivering a high standard of service, ensuring a friendly, helpful, and professional experience for all customers

What we’re looking for:

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to professionally support a wide range of customer needs
  
• Experience in a retail or customer-facing role, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  
• Self-motivated, with a proactive approach and the ability to use own initiative
  
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges as part of the role
  
• Awareness of Health & Safety in the workplace.
  
• Agricultural background or knowledge of farming products and practices (preferable)
  
• RAMA (Registered Animal Medicines Advisor) qualified or willing to undertake training
