Job summary

Agricultural Recruitment Specialists Ltd is seeking an Agricultural Software Specialist to support farm management software and hardware solutions. You will work with the sales team to deliver technical advice, product demonstrations and tailored solutions for farming businesses.

The role focuses on enabling customers to understand how technology improves farm efficiency, livestock management and business performance, with flexible remote or West Somerset office work.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of farm management software or agricultural technology preferred.
• Experience delivering software/hardware demonstrations.
• Excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong knowledge of the company’s agricultural software and hardware products.
• Support the sales team with technical advice and product demonstrations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend practical solutions.
• Explain product features, integrations and reporting capabilities.
• Demonstrate how technology can support livestock management, compliance and productivity.
• Assist with proposals and quotations.
• Attend customer meetings and industry events.
• Support onboarding, training and software adoption.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share customer feedback and identify improvements.
• Keep up to date with developments in agricultural technology.
