The Job Role Details:

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an Agricultural Service Technician.

As Agricultural Service Technician you'll play a crucial part in providing and maintaining an exceptional level of customer service whilst working with our industry-leading manufacturers & suppliers.

You will be working closely with our experienced professionals who are passionate about what they do.

Prior experience in the repair and maintenance of agricultural tractors and equipment, coupled with a thorough understanding of modern farm equipment technologies is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
You will…

Maintain and repair machinery, on and off-site - tractors & machinery completed to a high standard.

Assembly & PDI of new machines to the correct specification.

Be competent in fault finding on Engines, Hydraulics, & Electrical issues using the latest diagnostic equipment.

Prompt & correct filling in of all paperwork - time sheets, job cards & reports, etc.

Work alongside and communicate with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers.

Undertake relevant manufacturer training as & when required - giving you the opportunity to develop your skills & knowledge of the latest products & services on the market.

Ensure prompt and accurate completion of all necessary reports and administrative tasks, including job cards and time sheets, maintaining a high standard of quality.

Ensure a tidy and organised workshop environment, actively contributes to overall workshop organisation, and promotes the proper utilisation of tools and vehicles at all times.

Weekend rota with retainer.

Ideal Person Skills & Qualifications:
You will have / be…

Experience working on Agricultural Machinery and Equipment using diagnostic tools & equipment and referral to manufacturer service portals & books.

Skilled & knowledgeable in mechanical, electrical & hydraulic systems.

Professional, proactive & organised.

Exceptional customer service approach.

Full UK driving licence.

Ability to work well in a team environment.
