The successful candidate will service premium machinery across a local patch, supported by comprehensive training and clear career progression.

The role involves diagnosing and repairing equipment, using laptop diagnostics, and travelling to farms within ~50 miles of the depot.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Land-Based, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills required.
• Experience in agricultural, plant, commercial vehicle, or related industries desirable.
• Confident customer-facing communication skills and willingness to overtime seasonally.

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery.
• Utilise laptop-based diagnostics alongside hands-on engineering work.
• Travel to customer sites within a local patch, typically ~50 miles.
• Deliver first-class customer service and technical support.
• Manage workload while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Our client, a respected agricultural machinery specialist representing a leading global brand, is looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team in Cambridgeshire. The Role

• Service, diagnose and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment
• Utilise laptop-based diagnostics alongside practical engineering expertise
• Travel to customer sites and farms within a local patch, typically within 50 miles of the depot
• Deliver first-class customer service and technical support
• Manage your own workload while maintaining high standards of workmanship
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training programmes

What You'll Need

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in Land-Based, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills
• Experience within agricultural, plant, commercial vehicle or related industries
• Confident customer-facing communication skills
• Ability to commit to seasonal overtime requirements, particularly during the harvest period (typically June to September)
