Job summary

Executive Network Legal Ltd seeks an experienced Agricultural Solicitor to join its specialist rural team in Devon. You will advise farming families, landowners and rural businesses on agricultural and rural property matters including sales, acquisitions, tenancy issues and land registration across the South West.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years PQE, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to build long-term client relationships while working independently and contributing to department

Qualifications

• Applications are sought from Agricultural Solicitors with 5+ years’ PQE and a strong background in agricultural and rural property work.
• Understands the realities of working with farming families, landowners and rural businesses.
• Has sound technical knowledge across agricultural property law and related rural matters.
• Can build genuine, long-term relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Communicates confidently and can make complex legal issues straightforward and accessible.
• Is proactive, well organised and comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for a varied caseload and help grow the team’s presence within the local rural community.
• Advise clients on a broad range of agricultural and rural property matters, including sales and acquisitions, tenancy matters, easements, covenants, title issues and land registration.
• Work with land agents, accountants and advisers to deliver practical solutions for clients.
• Play an active role in developing the department and creating new professional relationships.
