Job summary

Ireland’s Group is seeking a dedicated Agricultural or Groundcare Technician to join our busy workshop team at Carrington or Sutterton.

You will service, diagnose and repair a wide range of machinery, with full manufacturer training provided, working in our workshop and on site to minimise downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Agricultural or Groundcare Technician or similar mechanical role.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and fault-finding skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred; reliable commute to Carrington/Sutterton.

Ireland’s Group is looking for a dedicated, self-motivated, and skilled Agricultural or Groundcare Technician to join our busy workshop team at Carrington or Sutterton

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced agricultural, groundcare or service technician who is looking to develop their career within the land-based engineering sector. Full manufacturer training is provided, making this an ideal role for technicians with transferable mechanical skills who are keen to work with leading agricultural and groundcare machinery brands.

The Role

As an Agricultural or Groundcare Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of agricultural and groundcare machinery, including tractors, compact tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, trailers, and associated equipment. You’ll work both in our fully equipped workshop and, where required, at customer sites, helping to minimise downtime and keep machinery operating at its best.

Working independently and as part of our experienced team, you’ll play a key role in delivering the high levels of service and support our customers have come to expect from Ireland’s Group.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as an Agricultural or Groundcare Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Service Engineer, Plant Technician, HGV Technician, Automotive Technician or similar mechanical role.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and fault-finding skills.
• Good attention to detail and excellent problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Welding and fabrication experience would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.
• A reliable commute to our Carrington or Sutterton depot.
• A full UK driving licence is preferred.
