Job summary

Grosvenor Farms seeks a skilled Agricultural Operator for the Arable & Maintenance team on the Eaton Estate near Chester. You will operate modern machinery, support spraying, harvest, and a wide range of arable tasks across a large-scale operation.

Reporting to the Arable Manager, you will ensure safe, efficient machinery operation, precise crop husbandry and record-keeping, with opportunities for training in spraying and harvesting techniques.

Qualifications

• PA1 and PA2 certificates are required.
• PA4 certificate and NRoSO membership are desirable.
• Telehandler certificate and BASIS qualification are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the farm sprayer and combine during harvest.
• Apply crop protection products and liquid fertilisers safely.
• Maintain accurate operational and spray records and assist harvest logistics.
• Support cultivations, drilling and forage operations as needed.
• Utilise GPS guidance and precision farming technology.
