Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren Limited is seeking a Consents & Liaison Officer in the Barton area. You will manage liaison activities with clients, landowners, and other stakeholders, arrange access to private land, serve notices and secure consents while evidencing land condition before entry.

You will work with project teams on client sites, keep stakeholders updated, ensure accurate billing, and maintain records. A full UK driving licence and strong knowledge of agriculture are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage liaison activities with clients, contractors, landowners, farmers, occupiers and other stakeholders to support client objectives.
• Arrange access to private land.
• Serve notices.
• Obtain agreements/consents and evidencing land conditions before entry.
• Advise and agree reinstatement of land and manage agricultural loss claims.
• Ensure the team proactively engages with landowners and occupiers on site, projecting a professional image.
• Work closely with project teams, often on client/project sites.
• Keep parties updated and report requirements to stakeholders with IT systems and meetings.
• Maintain good record keeping and monitor progress; ensure accurate billing.
• Carry out work in compliance with legal, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements.
• Provide constructive line management to direct reports and engage in progress reviews.
• Maintain and improve knowledge through company training.
