PATH Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair agricultural machinery at customer sites near Chelmsford. You will perform routine servicing and diagnostics, with a focus on reliability and customer service.

The role offers a salary of £40,000–£43,000 per year, overtime, a company vehicle, a mobile phone and 32 days’ annual leave. You will travel between sites and maintain accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in machinery maintenance, servicing or repairs, ideally in agriculture/farm machinery.
• Confident fault finder, capable of working independently in the field.
• Commitment to safe working practices and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on equipment.
• Identify issues and complete effective repairs on-site.
• Travel between customer sites and deliver professional service.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Advise customers on machinery condition and maintenance needs.
