PATH Recruitment is representing an established supplier of agricultural machinery. The Field Service Engineer will visit customer sites near Dedham to service, repair and maintain equipment, ensuring high reliability and safety.

You will have practical experience in machinery maintenance, work independently, and enjoy a package including a £40,000-£43,000 basic salary, overtime, company vehicle, mobile phone and 32 days' annual leave.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in machinery maintenance, servicing or repairs, ideally in agriculture/farm machinery.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based, customer-facing role.

About the Role:

As an Field Service Engineer, you will visit customer sites near Dedham to maintain, service and repair agricultural machinery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Identifying issues and completing effective repairs.
• Travelling between customer sites and delivering professional service.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records.
• Advising customers on machinery condition and maintenance requirements.

About You:

To succeed as a Field Service Engineer - You will have practical experience in machinery maintenance, servicing or repairs, ideally within agriculture/farm machinery.

You will be a confident fault-finder, comfortable working independently in a field-based role, with a customer-focused approach and a commitment to safe working practices.

To be successful in this role, you may have worked as an Agricultural Technician, Agricultural Mechanic, Agricultural Engineer or Agricultural fitter.
