Job summary

PATH Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair agricultural machinery at customer sites near Dedham. You will carry out routine servicing, diagnose faults and travel between sites delivering professional service.

You will be experienced in machinery maintenance, enjoy field-based work, and promote safe working practices, with opportunities for overtime and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in machinery maintenance, servicing or repairs.
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and deliver professional service.
• Commitment to safe working practices, with a practical approach.
• Experience in agriculture/farm machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on agricultural machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Identify issues and complete effective repairs.
• Travel between customer sites delivering professional service.
• Complete service reports and maintain records.
• Advise customers on machinery condition and maintenance requirements.
