Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service premium agricultural machinery across a local Norfolk patch. You will diagnose, repair and service equipment, using laptop diagnostics and hands-on engineering, traveling to farms within a ~50 mile radius from the depot.

Ideal candidates have Level 2 qualifications in Land-Based/Ag or Mechanical Engineering, strong mechanical/hydraulic/diagnostic skills, and confident customer communication.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification or equivalent in Land-Based, Agricultural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in agricultural, plant, or related industries.
• Confident customer-facing communication skills.
• Willingness to commit to seasonal overtime, especially during harvest (June–Sept).

Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery and equipment.
• Utilise laptop-based diagnostics alongside practical engineering expertise.
• Travel to customer sites and farms within a local patch within ~50 miles of the depot.
• Deliver first-class customer service and technical support.
• Manage your workload while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training programmes.
